What you can learn
I teach improvisation, songwriting and composition on acoustic and electric guitar drawing on jazz, classical, rock, folk, and traditional music, as well as unusual concepts for guitar and fingerstyle guitar, and more specifically Indian, African and Balkan music. I can teach how to integrate unusual rhythmic ideas, odd meters, ornaments and unusual scales into your playing, how to arrange for solo fingerstyle guitar, and how to improvise using those concepts while holding bass notes.
