What you'll do

Week 1: Play or Practice?

Students of all ages often don't understand elements of learning - are you a visual learning? audial learner? this can help you know areas that need addressing in your playing. Finding time to "Play" vs. "Practice" is also essential for our learning.

Week 2: Structure

This week, we'll walk through my personal routine I recommend for students of all levels, discuss what makes a good practice routine, and leave the lesson with a clear idea of your practicing structure

Week 3: The Plateau

We all reach a plateau with our practicing, in this week we'll learn strategies to break through a plateau and make you inspired to learn through practicing

Week 4: The Long-Run

In this final class, we'll discuss methods for self-evaluation so you can maximize your time in lessons. This is where we have experience following a structured routine, and we begin to feel significant improvement in our playing!

Who you are
You should have some basic understanding of playing the guitar - all the way to having played guitar for several decades. This class is designed for students of all levels and will be customized based on the students in attendance.
What to bring
Your guitar and your phone (or alternative recording device)
