In this masterclass we'll be focusing on all the things you need to know to be a great improvisor and how to develop a voice on your instrument. This course is designed for bass players primarily, but all instrumentalists interested in improvising will be able to get something out of this. We'll go over harmony, crafting melodic solos and how to come up with memorable parts on the spot.

This masterclass isn't primarily about music theory but having a solid grasp on functional harmony is essential if you want to play over chord changes. We'll do a basic harmony review as well as how to play sophisticated sounds over different kinds of chords and progressions.
