Intro to Jazz 2

Group guitar class taught by Molly Miller

6 lessons · 1 hour per week · intermediate

In this course we will continue to develop our jazz fundamentals. We will work on improvising, comping, repertoire, and fretboard knowledge: scales, arpeggios, chord voicings. There is a big push on application, not simply memorizing these fundaments, but the HOW, WHY, and WHEN.

I am a lover of guitar. I have been playing since I was 7 - I grew up playing with my 4 siblings. I studied at USC, where I received my Doctorate in Guitar Performance and now am a professor. I play constantly- touring with Jason Mraz, Zayn Malik, & Molly Miller Trio!

I came across Molly on a CAGED method class and her style of teaching really resonated with me. She just doesn't teach you how to make shapes and scales but how to sound melodic. Her classes are awesome she is very attentive and answers all your questions. I strongly recommend taking her classes you won't regret it!!
